Hunting Together Halloween Event Guide: Pumpkins, Gacha, and Candy

The Hunting Together Halloween event adds purple box drops, Pumpkin Spider fights, weapon skin draws, and Trick or Treat rewards. Collect its two currencies while hunting, then take each to the right exchange.

AT A GLANCE

Hunt ordinary monsters and click their purple dropped boxes for a chance at Pumpkin Heads or a summoned event monster. Defeat event monsters to collect Halloween Candy. Spend 10 Pumpkin Heads for one Halloween Gacha pull or 100 for ten at the village's central outdoor stall. At a Witch's House, use E: Knock with 100 Candy for a random item. Halloween weapon skins you win carry over to the official launch.

Pumpkin Heads and Candy Have Different Uses

Keep the two event currencies separate when planning your rewards:

For weapon skins, collect Pumpkin Heads and head to the Gacha stall. Save Candy for Trick or Treat; the pumpkin icon in the Gacha menu represents Pumpkin Heads.

Hunt Monsters and Open Purple Boxes

During the Halloween event, ordinary monsters can drop purple boxes across hunting areas.

  1. Hunt ordinary monsters and look for purple boxes on the ground.
  2. Click a dropped box. It may give you Pumpkin Heads directly or summon an event monster.
  3. If a Pumpkin Spider appears, defeat it and collect the event drops to build your Candy supply.
  4. Continue hunting and opening boxes until you have enough of the currency for your chosen exchange.

For Pumpkin Heads, favor higher-level monsters you can comfortably handle: pumpkins are harder to obtain in the low-level area. Keep the possible spider fight in mind when choosing where to farm. A Level 8 Pumpkin Spider has 1,008 maximum HP, while a Level 83 Pumpkin Spider has 144,801 maximum HP.

The event also includes the Halloween Hard Worker Box, which you open to battle Pumpkin Spiders. For other box types and their interactions, see the box guide.

Find the Halloween Gacha Stall

The Halloween Gacha is an outdoor counter in the village's central square.

  1. Follow the main road lined with square lamps and cross the bridge.
  2. Pass the guards, training dummies, and leaderboards as you head toward the central square.
  3. Look for the large HALLOWEEN sign above a counter decorated with jack-o'-lanterns and candles.
  4. Approach the counter until Halloween Gacha / Open Gacha appears, then press E.

The EVENT QUESTS sign stands to the right of the stall, with a yellow arrow pointing left. Follow that arrow when looking for the event quests.

Pull Costs and Reward Chances

Open the Gacha menu and use Preview to inspect the available previews. Choose Pull x1 with at least 10 Pumpkin Heads, or Pull x10 with at least 100, then wait for the random reward result. Both options cost 10 Pumpkin Heads per draw, so the ten-pull option offers no currency discount.

The prize pool includes weapon skins for all six classes, Gold, stones, potions, and Card Boxes. Gold amounts below are rewards.

Individual skins are rare compared with the Gold and orange stone prizes. If a particular appearance is your goal, use Preview to decide which one you want before spending your pumpkins.

Spend 100 Candy at a Witch's House

Bring 100 Halloween Candy to a house marked TRICK OR TREAT.

  1. Approach the house's door.
  2. Look for Witch's House — Knock (100 Candy).
  3. Press E to spend 100 Candy and receive a random item.

Rewards vary between Witch's House locations, so different houses can offer different rewards.

Keep Won Weapon Skins at Launch

Halloween weapon skins you win from Halloween Gacha remain yours after the official launch. This makes Pumpkin Heads useful for collecting lasting cosmetics during the event.
