Hunting Together Obsidian Pharaoh Guide

Obsidian Pharaoh guards the route from Desert to Snow. Prepare healing supplies and watch its attack warnings: one sends you out of danger, while the other requires you to move into a safe area.

AT A GLANCE

Challenge Obsidian Pharaoh in the Desert boss room, which recommends Lv.75. Leave the red ground warning during Ground Stomp and enter the green safe area during Sandstorm Judgement. Defeat the boss to open the route to Snow.

Find the Desert Boss Room and Prepare

Head to the Obsidian Pharaoh boss room in Desert and look for the passage bearing its name. The room banner recommends Lv.75, so use that as your preparation target.

If you travel by Pillar, the destination is labeled Desert · Obsidian Pharaoh and lists a cost of 3,000 Gold. The area and route guide covers regional navigation.

Bring healing potions before entering. Obsidian Pharaoh is weak to Water, making Water a useful elemental choice for this fight. For potion choices, purchasing steps, and automatic recovery settings, use the combat supplies guide.

Dodge Ground Stomp and Survive Sandstorm Judgement

Attack during safe openings, then respond to the current attack name and ground color.

Attack Ground warning What to do
Ground Stomp Red danger area Move completely outside the marked red area.
Sandstorm Judgement Green safe area during a room-wide attack Move into the green area to avoid the attack.

Ground Stomp

When the Ground Stomp warning appears, stop attacking long enough to clear the red ground marker. Resume attacking after the attack resolves.

Sandstorm Judgement

When Sandstorm Judgement is announced, locate the green safe area and move inside it. Running away from the boss without checking the marker can leave you outside the safe area during the room-wide attack.

Keep switching between attacking and moving as each warning appears. Let the current marker determine your destination rather than always running outward.

Open the Route to Snow

Defeating Obsidian Pharaoh opens the route to Snow. Collect your drops, then continue through the newly opened passage into the next region.

Protection Stone can drop from this boss. See the materials and stone guide for its other acquisition options.

The Polar Bear hunting area in Snow recommends Lv.76–83, giving you a nearby progression target after the fight. For the later Snow boss and the route onward to Volcano, continue with the Storm Dragon King guide.
